He was born and raised in Cass County. He attended Texas A&M University on a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education. Brian taught high school Agricultural Science and Forestry for 6 years before beginning work in the field of forestry eventually owning his own forest products company. Through the years he has managed timberland across East Texas and invested in land and other types of real estate. Montana Whatley was born and raised in East Texas, graduating from Linden- Kildare High School. After High School she moved to College Station, TX where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) from Texas A&M University. Because of her passion for real estate, the outdoors, and helping individuals meet their needs, after graduating Montana went on to obtain her real estate license. With her passion for real estate and her knowledge of GIST, she is able to provide useful information to landowners about their property, and what makes it desirable to others. With GIST she is also able to know the ideal audience to target in order to have the most successful marketing plan, and in turn provide a great transaction for both buyers and sellers.

Since 1925 they have specialized in marketing country homes, farms, ranches, land and lifestyle properties, and today sell more than any other group.
Montana is married to Caleb Whatley who also graduated from Texas A&M and is working toward becoming a licensed land surveyor. Outside of work they enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, surveying, DIY projects, gardening, and spending time with family. They are members of Cross Creek Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas. They love teaching their 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school class as well as being a part of a young adult group at their church.
