Brian Whatley Owner/Broker

Brian has been a licensed Texas Realtor since 2008 and now is the Broker/Owner of United Country | Double Creek Land and Homes which specializes in brokering farms and ranches, country homes, timberland and recreational properties in East Texas.  He was born and raised in Cass County.  He attended Texas A&M University on a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education.  Brian taught high school Agricultural Science and Forestry for 6 years before beginning work in the field of forestry eventually owning his own forest products company.   Through the years he has managed timberland across East Texas and invested in land and other types of real estate.  Brian’s passion is educating landowners in the process of buying and selling rural land and teaching them the aspects of how to make that land highly productive while maintaining sustainability.

Brian serves his community in multiple roles.  He is currently serving as President of the Cass County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, Marion-Cass Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors, and he was recently nominated and is currently serving on the Texas Farm Bureau Forestry Commodity Committee.  He has a heart to teach and since leaving public education he has continued to teach young people through his church and also local 4-H Clubs, where he coaches youth in Natural Resources projects.  His 4-H Forestry teams have had multiple state championships and competed nationally in 2011 and 2016.

Brian and his wife Marcie have been married for 30 years and live in the small community of Kildare on their ranch where they raise cattle and timber.  They have 2 sons, Caleb, his wife, Montana and Joshua.  As a family, they enjoy hunting whitetail deer, dove, turkey, elk, and hogs as well as fishing in nearby Wright Patman Lake, Caddo Lake and Lake O’ the Pines.  The Whatley family are members of Cross Creek Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas.

Marcie Whatley Realtor/Office Administrator

Marcie Whatley was raised on a farm in Marion County, Texas.  After graduating high school from Avinger ISD, she attended North East Texas Community College obtaining her Associates Degree.   She later married her best friend, Brian Whatley, building their cattle herd and raising their family in Cass County.  Marcie and Brian have two sons, Caleb and Joshua, which are their greatest accomplishments.  Marcie spent 20 years homeschooling their boys, graduating their youngest in 2021.   

With a heart for volunteering, Marcie serves and gives back to her community in many ways.  She loves teaching her first and second graders Sunday School class, and Wednesday night young adult class, serving on missions outreach teams, Lady Wrangler woman’s group, and serving as the church treasurer at Cross Creek Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas.  

Community involvement includes serving as an Adult 4-H Leader for 13 years where she and Brian founded the Cass County Hope 4-H Club training numerous Natural Resources teams.  Marcie and Brian are also involved in youth livestock projects by purchasing animal projects at the County Livestock Show and Sale and the Cattleman’s Association Show and Sale where they are able to financially help 4-H and FFA youth.     

Marcie also served on the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Board as Co-Chairman where she played a part in the planning of events for the community and serving chamber member businesses.   Currently, Marcie serves as a member of the Amity Study Club (General Federation of Women's Clubs) where she volunteers her time for communtiy enrichment. 

Spending time with her family, Brian and their two boys and daughter-in-love, Montana, as well as her dog, Sadie bring the most joy to Marcie.  She also enjoys spending time outdoors in her flowerbeds, checking her bee hive, working with their cattle herd and cooking.  

Marcie has been involved in real estate for more than 20 years through investments in rental properties where she played a part in the purchase of properties as well as taking care of all of the bookkeeping and working with tenants.

Since 2019, Marcie has been the Office Administrator for United Country Double Creek Land and Homes and after obtaining her real estate license in 2020, she works alongside her husband as a Realtor.

Bill Dupree Farm and Ranch Specialist

Bill has been a lifelong resident of Northeast Texas making his home in Atlanta, Cass County, Texas.  He is married to his wife, Connie.  Together hey have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.  

Bill owns a working ranch as well as assists farm and ranch owners with their operations.  He has also been active in multiple community affairs including:

- Independent businessman for 20 years.  

- Served two terms on the Atlanta Chamber of  Commerce Board of Directors  - one term as President.

- Was a charter Member of Cass County Rodeo Board of Directors

-Served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Cass County Cattleman's Association.  

- He and his wife, Connie proudly served as adult leaders of their daughters Cass County 4-H Horse Club.

- Bill and Connie have also served on various committees at Laws Chapel United Methodist Church.   

Bill most recently has been involved in internet cattle sales with CattleRange.com out of Amarillo, as well as cattle and equipment appraisals for several local banks.

Hey Everyone, this is Caleb and Montana Whatley – The Whatley Team. We are a husband and wife team who love working together and have a passion for real estate. After working separately in Real Estate and Land Surveying we decided to take the knowledge we had through our own careers and create a real estate team that can help our friends, community, and new faces find their new spot in East Texas. Caleb was raised on his family’s East Texas ranch where he spent much of his free time hunting and fishing when he wasn’t busy in the hayfield or tending to livestock.  Growing up in this manner resulted in a love and appreciation for agriculture and the outdoors.  From a very young age Caleb shadowed his dad, Brian, as he worked in the field of forestry and later real estate sales.  This experience further cultivated his passion for rural real estate.  After graduating high school Caleb attended Tyler Junior College and received his AAS in Land Surveying and Mapping Technology; after which he attended Texas A&M University and graduated with his BS in Geographical Information Science and Technology (GIST).

Newly married to his wife Montana, they moved back to Cass County, TX where Caleb continued pursuing his land surveying license. With a desire to work with his family, Caleb joined the United Country | Double Creek Land and Homes office as a licensed real estate agent after working in the field of surveying for 6 years.

Montana was born and raised in East Texas, graduating from Linden- Kildare High School. After High School she moved to College Station, TX where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) from Texas A&M University. Because of her passion for real estate, the outdoors, and helping individuals meet their needs, after graduating Montana went on to obtain her real estate license. With her passion for real estate and her knowledge of GIST, she is able to provide useful information to landowners about their property, and what makes it desirable to others.  With GIST she is also able to know the ideal audience to target in order to have the most successful marketing plan, and in turn provide a great transaction for both buyers and sellers.

Since graduating college she has worked in the United Country | Double Creek Land and Homes Office. Montana has had her Real Estate license since 2020, listing and selling hunting land, country homes with acreage, and secluded getaway properties. 

Caleb and Montana have been married since February of 2020. Outside of work they enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, doing DIY projects, gardening, and spending time with family. They are members of Cross Creek Cowboy Church in Atlanta, Texas.  They love teaching their 1^st and 2^nd grade Sunday school class as well as being a part of a young adult group at their church, and attending a weekly bible study group with members of their community.

Tracey Whittington is a lifelong resident of East Texas.  She has always enjoyed the thought of selling real estate and has finally put her dream to action.

Family & Farm Life

Tiffany is married to John and they have two children, Hayden and Hudson. Together, they run a small farm in Cass County, where they raise chickens, pigs, cows, and goats as well as a variety of crops. Although they have made their home in Cass County, Tiffany and her family have lived many places, giving her an diverse understanding of many cultures and ways of life. She and John grew up in South East Texas and met in High School. They married while in college and moved to the Houston area, where they lived for over 8 years. A job change for John moved them to Central Texas where, in Austin, they began their family and fell in love with the natural way of life and the outdoor opportunities like hiking, camping, hunting and natural living Austin totes. 

Once their youngest, Hudson, turned two, they were called to the mission field where they served Maori and Kiwis in New Zealand for 5 years. Here, she developed a love for locally sourced, home grown food and could see direct benefit in their family. Due to medical needs, they moved back to The States and eventually settled in Austin again. After 7 years raising their boys in wonderful community, they were looking for a slower pace of life and were lead to start a small farm in North East Texas, where they now reside and flourish.

Marshall, TX. Trevor served as Executive Director of a local retirement community for three

Trevor met his wife Jennifer while attending ETBU and they have been married for 25 years.

They have built their home in Texarkana and raised three children, Austin, Amy, and Atticus

Robyn Hervey Realtor

Robyn and her husband Todd have called Texarkana home for 34 years.  They have four grown children and two amazing grandchildren!   They currently live on a small ranch in Bowie Co. where they raise Brangus Cattle and Ranch horses.  

Over the years, they have spent time showing both cutting and ranch horses and were also involved with the FFA showteam showing Brangus cattle while their kids were in school.

Josh Whatley Realtor

Josh grew up on a ranch in East Texas. He was active in Cass County 4-H where he raised various livestock projects. Exhibiting beef projects at the local Cass County Cattleman’s and Livestock Shows as well as major shows such as Ft. Worth Livestock Show and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Other activities included Archery, Shooting Sports, Forestry where he was a member of the Texas State winning Forestry Team in 2021, Blade Smithing, and Leadership.

Josh has spent his whole life working on his family’s cattle ranch as well as working as a ranch hand for multiple neighboring ranchers. He also spent time helping his dad in land and timber management and real estate investing and remodeling. He went on to work in the trade industry, later deciding to become a licensed real estate professional and join his family’s real estate firm. His farm and ranch background as well as his land and timber experience prove to be valuable in the rural real estate market that he services.

Josh is a member of Cross Creek Cowboy Church. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and hunting, working out and playing his guitar.
