Paige Burkhalter grew up in Texarkana, Texas, where her love for people, places, and intentional design began to take shape. A graduate of Liberty-Eylau High School, she pursued her education through Texarkana College, Henderson State University, and ultimately earned her Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Management with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from Arkansas Tech University.
Paige began her professional journey in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, completing her internship before serving as an Activities Director at a nursing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. After returning home in the wake of the pandemic, she realized that while her work in recreation and clinical care had meaning, it didn’t feel like the life she truly wanted to live.
She spent the next three years gaining experience in contract creation for medical equipment, where she sharpened her skills in accuracy, communication, and client support. Skills that now serve her well in the world of real estate.
In exploring new paths, Paige rediscovered a lifelong passion for real estate and design, fields where she could blend her creativity, love for people, and natural knack for organization. She joined United Country: Double Creek Land and Homes in Texarkana as the Office Administrator, where she supports clients and agents by managing documents, coordinating listings, and keeping communication clear and timely throughout the buying and selling process.
Currently working toward obtaining her real estate license, Paige is excited to continue growing in the industry. She believes real estate is about more than transactions, it’s about helping people find spaces where they can thrive.
Outside the office, Paige enjoys spending time near any body of water, whether it’s a beach, lake, or quiet creek. She loves baking, organizing spaces for peace and function, and creating a cozy home. She values deep conversations, meaningful connections, and finding joy in everyday moments. She also loves spending time with family and her dogs. Most of all, she believes life should be lived with intention, and that home is where that life truly begins.
